Your contribution allows us to keep researching and fighting to have an informed, calm, constructive, and democratic debate. These are challenging times, and we have a lot of work ahead of us.

2025 RECap

We’ve been changing the public discourse since 2012 thanks to the support of our community. We’re a team of 10 professionals supported by over 25 freelancers and volunteers. Our finances are very simple: our annual budget goes toward paying for an office and our team’s salaries.

Our funding comes from various places: 20% from small donors, 40% from major individual donors, 33% from European Union projects, and 4% from seminars and training sessions. Only 2% of our funds come from national public grants.

The purposes by which we are governed, as stated in our Statutes, are the promotion of data and investigative journalism on issues related to social development, inequality, exclusion, sustainability, and poverty within and outside Spain. With this, we seek to strengthen an informed and quality public debate on issues that are central to the general interest.
